Foothills organic (Jo Scro)

Foothills Organic takes pride in what we produce and sell, so it is as fresh as you can get.

The farm gate honesty stall is open all hours with seasonal vegetables and to meet demand we also sell fruit, dairy products, eggs and a small range of grocery items. Two days a week our vegetables are sold at the Melbourne Market where we are the only organic vegetable grower on the wholesale floor.

Foothills Organic has grown tasty organic vegetables locally for over 70 years with knowledge and techniques passed down from father to son and has been certified organic with NASAA since 1994.

We also grow in season silverbeet, bokchoy, shanghi, beetroot, 4 varieties of potatoes, leeks, rhubarb, broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, swedes, turnips, diakon, red radish, continental & curly parsley, celeriac, black & green kale, garlic, cabbage, fennel, onions and artichokes.

Free Range is a family owned business run by Anthony & Beth Roe in South West Victoria. The Roe’s moved away from the chaos of Sydney 14 years ago to create a self sufficient & less stressful lifestyle for their young family. Anthony has been self sourcing wild venison from the Otway’s for the last seven years and is keen for others to be able to experience the flavour & nutritional benefits unique to wild harvested Venison. Anthony is an experienced and ethical hunter and qualified game meat harvester with a deep connection to the Australian Bush.

Local fisherman

We’re blessed to have some of the worlds cleanest waters and freshest seafood right at our doorstep. Our seafood comes largely from local fishermen. Known for rock lobster (crayfish), abalone, snapper, scallops, squid, gummy shark flathead, trevally and tuna, the Otway’s has a rich history of seafood.
